terrible

terrible service — I was locked outside several times because there was no one at the reception. I arrived tired and had to wait for someone to show up and open the door for me. The location is also awful. Even though it’s technically ‘close’ to the metro, I felt unsafe walking alone, especially since it’s an industrial area with lots of men on the street making inappropriate comments. There’s also nothing nearby for lunch or dinner (just the "hotel restaurant" which is expensive. On top of everything, I had to leave at 5 a.m. for my flight and wasn’t even given a breakfast kit, which is usually offered when guests leave before breakfast hours. I was staying on the third floor, supposedly the top floor, and yet there was still a lot of noise coming from other rooms, the hallway, and even from upstairs (which doesn’t make much sense?)

Hotel Tiempo was comfortable and very clean, but facilities were basic. If all you're looking for is a place to put your head down at night and have a decent breakfast, it will do the job but don't expect mod cons beyond Wifi. Please note the hotel is in the semi-industrial Gianturco area of Naples /Napoli and 5 km from Napoli Old Town to the north. If you want to goo to Pompeii and Vesuvius, go to Napoli-Gianturco station, but use Via Gianturco for Heraculum (Ercolano). Reception staff are very friendly and helpful, but serving staff in restaurant respond better to you trying a few words of Italian. Breakfast is part-buffet (tea, coffee, fruit juice, cereal, butter, jam), but you must wait to be served for cooked items or cakes noting this is not immediately obvious. The gym advertised elsewhere has been removed. There was one breakdown in communication with reception over taxi fares to airport where I was quoted 35 Euros (I'm gathering a night rate) but a friend was quoted 23 Euros (a day rate) leading to me overpaying - I should have rechecked. However, this was one unintentional blip in what was a good level of service with plenty helpful advice. Remember to pay your tourist tax upon checking out with this 4 Euros 50 cents per night at time of writing.

We needed to get to the airport at 3am and the staff couldn’t get us a Taxi and had no desire to help get us to the airport. We walked just over 10 minutes and a taxi drove by that got us to the airport as the hotel wouldn’t help in any way.

Hotel was a bit out of the centre in the industrial working area so the surrounding area was quite dirty… full of rubbish in the streets but as soon as you were in the centre (which was about a 40 minute walk) it had the lively Italian vibe Hotel was clean and tidy… the description is wrong though as it’s the hotel opposite that has the lounge area, outdoor seating and bar Breakfast was very good with plants of variety to eat

The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was just okay. It was convenient to be near the train station, but it wasn’t the best area in general. I did appreciate being hidden away a little from the busier street, though. The blankets and towels smelt a little bad and bed was not the most comfortable

No se parece mucho al de las fotos, nos dieron una habitación distinta a la de la foto. Cuando llegamos ese día encontramos hormigas u otro tipo de bicho en la ducha. Solo un ascensor lo que hace que se demore mucho, y aparte de eso el desayuno eran solo 3 tipos de bollos y cereales (nada que ver con el supuesto buffet). Lo único bueno fue la localización que quedaba cerca de todo.

Excelente hotel. Tudo funcionando perfeitamente. Atendimento excelente em especial da Valéria. Bom café da manhã. Em frente tem um restaurante muito bom para comer carne ou pizza. La Scottona. Não tem nada para fazer por perto, mais achei tranquilo andar durante o dia. A noite o hotel disponibiliza uma Van gratuito a partir das 20:00 até às 23:30horas (ida e volta) que te deixa em frente ao Hotel Mercure no centro.

Hotel ok but not the best!

The hotel is very clean and the staff is amazing! Although the hotel is under construction, we didn’t hear any noise. Breakfast is included and quite good. The rooms are small, the beds are a bit stiff, and the pillows are uncomfortable. It's suitable for a one- or two-night stay at most. The surrounding area is dirty and unappealing, with garbage everywhere—it feels a bit unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend walking around at night. However, the hotel is not far from the metro, which takes you directly to the city center.

Nice hotel, not so nice area

Hotel Tiempo is nice, we had a clean and spacious room with a great roof terrace. There isn't a restaurant but guests can use the sister hotel directly opposite a small road. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. However, the surrounding area is very industrial and dirty which would put us off staying there again. There is litter everywhere and very few places to eat in the nearby vicinity. It was ok for our one night stay but will choose somewhere more central next time.
