Good stay for work

Hotel is in a convenient location just a 10 minute walk from the old city center. The area is cute, near a lovely church. It is a steep uphill walk however to leave the hotel. So if you have mobility issues, this is not for you. Breakfast was very nice quality, fresh and delicious, including croissants, bacon, fresh nutella muffins, etc. Unfortunately, no coffee or tea facilities in the room! This was a shock! The rooms are also not very dark as a light beams in through the bathroom window and glass door, as well as several led lights coming from the television etc. It was quiet and I was undisturbed by noise. One of the bed sheets was stained by small red specks, like rust and there were several hairs stuck to the wall in the bathroom which was unsavory. There was no conditioner offered in the shower and the hot water took several minutes of running to turn on. The staff was friendly, helpful and pleasant! I needed an iron and ironing board and it was immeadiately brought to my room, which I appreciated!

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen unweit vom Oude Markt und dem Grote Markt, sowie dem sagenhaften Rathaus und der gegenüber liegenden St. Pieterskerk. Radfahren ist in der Stadt gut möglich und außerhalb sind die Radwege sehr sehr gut.

Gut gelegen, für einen Kurztrip ok

Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer im Dachgeschoss. Man kommt nicht mit dem Fahrstuhl dorthin, das letzte Geschoss muss man durch ein sehr kleines Treppenhaus mit kaputer Stufe die Koffer hochhiefen. Das Dachgeschoss hat eine Klimaanlage in einem Raum, allerdings wurde die wohl noch nie gereinigt. Der Blick aus dem Fenster zeigte eine Sammlung von ca 30 Klimageräten (die man auch hörte). Die Dusche ist im Gang, das eigentliche Bad an einer anderen Stelle. Die Toilette hat nur eine teilweise satinierte Glastür, die weder Geräusche noch das Abbild der Person aus der Toilette unterdrückt. Für eine Nacht, wie gesagt ok. Service war gut, Fragen wurden umgehend beantwortet. Frühstück war ok, an der Kaffeemaschine ging die Milch nicht, wurde aber auch auf Nachfrage nicht ausgetauscht. Parkplatz eng aber auch mit großem Auto benutzbar für 20€ die Nacht. Dafür ist man direkt in der Innenstadt. Würde dennoch wieder kommen für eine Nacht, für Länger würde ich etwas Anderes suchen.

Prima hotel. Ruime, comfortabele kamer. Parkeren kan in een overdekte en afgesloten ruimte aan de overkant van de straat. Ontbijtbuffet is uitgebreid en lekker. Onthaal heel vriendelijk. Hotel ligt middenin de stad, vlakbij horeca en bezienswaardigheden.

We recently stayed at this hotel and were generally pleased with our experience, although there were a few surprises. Unfortunately, we were not aware at the time of booking that our room was located one floor up from the lift, requiring us to navigate a final set of narrow stairs, one of which was broken. This could be challenging for some guests. The layout of the family room was somewhat unusual and might not be ideal for everyone, though it was just about suitable for our close-knit family. The see-through shower door is also something one might need to get accustomed to. On a positive note, the breakfast was very nice, with a good variety of options available. Parking was convenient, though it needs to be pre-booked. There was a bit of a mix-up with our request, but thankfully, a space was found for us.Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a few areas that could benefit from some attention.
