Helpful staff and comfortable accommodation. Stairs and shower in bath could be challenging for guests with limited mobility. Easy to find.

Good City Accommodation!

Clean, comfortable and very convenient! Attending the Lichfield Arts Festival and hotel was just up the hill from the Cathedral, one of the venues! Great breakfast, very helpful staff! Recommended! 😉 Didn’t bother me, but no lift!

10/10 Exceptional

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Room was sufficient for our weekend stay, everything you need is there tea/coffee, hair dryer and tv. Bed was comfortable bathroom small but practical. Overall experience was very good. Would return.

8/10 Very good

It was a satisfactory hotel However the weather was particularly hot and air conditioning would have I useful A fan was provided
Richard, 2-night trip

Good for a sleepover in Litchfield

Small old fashioned hotel conveniently close to the city centre. Room was comfortable and clean, but the bathroom was a little tired and the door to the room could do with a soft close mechanism, to stop it closing loudly. All staff were great. The bar was well stocked and comfortable and the breakfast was very good. On-site car park is a useful, but £5 a night is a bit cheeky.
Richard, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Peimier room was nice however location is at the front of the property road noise was a problem .
Elaine, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Very friendly staff. Rooms were small but comfortable and very clean. Good breakfast. No evening meal but plenty of good options (including discounted meal at sister hotel) close by with a short, walk into town past the the cathedral and river. Was noisy when we visited because of a wedding in the function room but the area seems quiet overall so I imagine it would be peaceful during the week or when there was no weekend function taking place. Good value. Would stay again.

Charming older property

This is my second time here so i knew what to expect. It's an older property so showers are in baths but this was not a problem. A spaceous and comfortable bar with entertainment on some nights.
John, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Ok but better options

Ok stay hotel very tired rooms need some love and attention - breakfast good Distance to town good - few minutes stroll into town which was handy. Parking onsite which you pay for at check in but unfortunately was full when we returned at night so not very convenient. Would not stay again despite the staff being very friendly the facilities are lacking.
Jonathan, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Staff friendly but very dated. Wallpaper coming of walls. Needs updating
Sarah, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast and friendly service. Would stay again.
Nicholas, 1-night trip

Amazing staff

The staff at this hotel are amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. They really make the place. The fabric of the building is getting a little tired. Housekeeping of the rooms is not done daily which I was ok with but it meant the tea tray was not refilled regularly nor the cups changed.
Julie, 7-night trip

DECENT PLACE

Decent hotel. Room was nice- good bed, great shower. The public areas were a bit dated. ‘Fallen grander’ sort of thing but not too bad. The were quite helpful in thinking where could i store my cycle overnight. In the end we agree in my room was the easiest place.
