Very conveniently situation across from Berlin's central station, it is easy get to the hotel. My check-in was done by friendly members of the staff. I was very pleased with the room, as a single traveler. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Bathroom of an OK size, and the shower was fairly large. The breakfast was good, with a good food selection and friendly staff. I really liked the opportunity to squeez my own fresh orange juice.

We left our jewelry in the hotel room when we checked out . A girl callled Alejandrina from the front desk was not good help , she would really not help with translation and had an attitude. Located in front of the nain station (Hbf), it is handy for railway travelers. A room is not enough large, but well equiped. A good bed asureed a good sleep and a shower, which supplied enough and ampke hot warter refreshed me after a sightseeing.

Amazingly quiet & extremely comfortable hotel

This hotel surpassed my expectations. I am always wary and dubious about booking hotels near railway stations from past experience. The hotel is superb. The room was supremely comfortable and amazingly quiet, despite the hotel's proximity to the railway station (and my room was facing the station entrance). The food choices for breakfast were varied and terrific. I would certainly book there again

Very nice place very close to hbf. Rooms and lobby are somewhat small, but nice. Staff is polite and professional. There are restaurants of different kinds around. Only - is self-closing door to the baathroom. These are stupid. I wonder how many people have hit their face in a door that changed position a couple of seconds after you walked through it.

Near station but needs improvement

I can hear noises from the other room. Then there is loud music coming from the hallway which I can also hear inside the room, affecting my sleep. Room is not very clean. You can see dust floating around and on the floor and other surfaces. I got a very high cost for my stay because of an event in Berlin so for the price I paid, it’s not worth it. But if it’s a good dral then I guess go ahead and book. The best part of the hotel is that it’s located just across of the Berlin Main Station.

The hotel is really clean and all basic amenities were available. The only thing that I did not appreciate is the staff. When we arrived, we tried to open the door and it was tightly shut and the glass was tinted so we cannot see inside, we got confused and thought it was probably not the main door so we looked around then some guests came out of the door so we grabbed that chance and entered. Once we entered, one staff member (not a front desk staff but looks like a manager or something) lectured us in a mean way (like we were idiots) that there was a button on the side of the wall to press to open the door. Unfortunately, we did not see it because it was located low and our luggage covered it. We also realized that she can actually see us from outside and did not even bother to help us open that door but instead felt the need to lecture us like we are idiots for not knowing there was a button which was black, same color as the wall and located almost knee level (like who would think a button would be there). So that soured our experience and out of all the hotels we've went to in Europe this year (8hotels in total) this was the only hotel with rude staff member. She needs training on customer service.

Mail gekregen om on-line in te checken werkt niet (uren geprobeerd) Het is self incheck, pas enkel de 3de dag heeft personeel een goeiendag kunnen zeggen. 1 persoon is misschien iets te weinig en geeft niet de welkom. Onze kamer was zeer net, alles voorzien (misschien een waterkoker voor diegene die geen koffie drinken?). Maar zeer luidruchtig…blijkbaar was er vrijdag-zaterdag een feestje net onder onze kamer. Muziek stopte pas om 01u30 (zaterdag,) waardoor het moeilijk was de slaap te vatten. Dit kon verteld worden bij de aankomst (indien we iemand hadden gezien). Openbaar vervoer zeer dichtbij. On-line uitchecken…werkt niet geen uren aan besteed.

We chose Hotel Romy for its excellent proximity to transportation in Berlin. Our first night was difficult because that room would not work with our physical conditions. The staff went over and above making sure that the next four nights were a pleasure. We couldn’t be more impressed with a front desk staffer than we are with Gabriel. He worked with his supervisor to identify a room that would best fit our needs and even escorted us to it to check it would work. Every hotel should have employees this caring and professional.
