Superb Stay

Hotel is in a great position right in the centre of Valencia with inexpensive parking right below. Room was really nice and probably one of the best breakfasts we have had in a hotel with so many wonderful choices. (Try their mini cupcake tortillas & muffins) There was a plethora of restaurants right outside the hotel main entrance and a really buzzing atmosphere. We will be staying here again.

Lovely hotel in the old town

The hotel was well located for all the attractions of Valencia old town and close to transport links - metro, taxi rank etc to explore all the city has to offer. Room was spacious, clean and well furnished the bathroom was a great size and a lovely powerful shower. If I was to visit Valencia again I'd be more than happy to return to Hotel Vincci Lys.

Very nice hotel. The beds were amazing. The only negative was the $20+ breakfast. It was fine but didn’t live up to the beauty/opulence of the rest of the hotel. Expected an omelet/crepe bar but had powdered eggs.

Perfect mid-priced hotel for business or leisure.

Nice and friendly check-in. Arrived early and was hoping to just leave luggage but the receptionist checked and found that the room was ready and so checked us in early. Room was clean and very spacious with a seating area. There was an entrance lobby with doors to the bedroom and bathroom which meant that we didn’t hear any noise from the corridor at night. Overall it was very quiet and we slept very well. Great location. 2 minutes from the metro and walking distance to many of the sights and good restaurants in the city centre. Buffet breakfast was lovely with a good selection of dishes. Overall it was a fabulous stay and would definitely book again for a future trip.

A great hotel in the old city

The attendants at the lobby were sweet. We arrived late because there was a huge festival going on in the city. They actually told us about the festival and marked the important locations on a map so we could attend. Their attitude and treatment were warm and attentive from beginning to end. As for the hotel, the room was beautiful and clean. I loved the amenities. It looked classy and beautifully decored just as advertised. Parking was tricky because of the festival (the city was mobbed with seas of people) so it was beyond the hotel's control. We parked towards the outer ring of the city overnight. This allowed us to get the car out even when all the streets were closed because of the Fallas festivities. Aside from that, the hotel is in the middle of all the action, close to restaurants and major city squares and churches.

The first room we were assigned had a very bad sewersmell to it, luckily for us there was another room available and we could move there. However, there are renovations going on which resulted in loud renovationnoises every morning from 8am to 4pm in the afternoon. The hotel was very noisy anyway, could hear neighbours walk and talk and had to sleep with airbuds every night. The breakfast was good, but not great. No variety during the week, coffee and tea not hot enough and little choice of bread. Sweet breads where supertiny, so where most of the dishes like soups, omelettes and pastry's, Cleanliness was absolutely perfect in our second room! Clean-up everyday including mopping the floors, compliments to the cleaningcrew. The new bathrooms are very pretty, but I would advise a manual for the three showerknobs, after 5 days I still didn't figure out how they worked. The location of the hotel is great, close too public transport and for us walking distance from all important places to be and visit. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity. We did have an enjoyable stay. We would have a appreciated a heads-up first about the constructionworks or at least a discount for the room. Sleeping-in or just relaxing in the afternoon was not an option, the works were só loud.
