Very well situated hotel just under the Köningsallee. People there (Lukas!) were very friendly. If you go there, make sure to check the market just after the hotel, it is full of food and crafts!

Ruby Luna hotel was in a good location. Walkable to Alldstadt (old town) and restaurants and shopping. Rooms were bright and clean. Robert and the rest of the staff were cheerful and accommodating and fun to chat with. Would recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel. Bar downstairs stayed busy. My only complaint is the housecleaning never came to the room in the 3 days we were there. It would have been nice to get fresh towels since those were very limited in the room.

Just a bit weird: no light switch for main lights in the room, had to take out the key card, no coffee, no ironing board, slippers or robe. Seemed a bit strange for the highest priced room with two Marshall amplifiers and a glass shower. People were friendly and helpful and the vibe is cool though.

Whilst I was at breakfast one morning I saw a mouse running along by the wall, not really what I wanted but the mouse looked happy and well fed !

Supplies in room only for 1 person

Check in process was supposed to be “self” but it wasn’t really…… very complex more than it needed to be. Staff was nice. The reservation was for Queen room for 2 people! It only had 1 pillow and 1 towel! We had to ask for added pillows and towels and had to go to front desk to do so as there was no phone in the room. The bar was great and bartender was great

The hotel is in a very convenient location, the bar area is nice and the rooms are fine. However no information was given during check in such as where our room was and when breakfast would be served, - it was very much a 'sort things out for yourself' vibe. Breakfast staff were very busy and hence the buffet didnt get replinished very quickly. I would probably stay again

Good location, but not my cup of tea

Good things about this hotel are location and it is well kept. However, there were some things that I really didn't like. The first was do it yourself check-in. Why should I do someone else's job for them? It is also a cash-free hotel. I choose to use cash when I travel to avoid lengthy banking documentation when I get home. My personal preferences. But the thing that really irked me was the lack of privacy in the bathroom. Despite the frosted glass and a curtain, one still has the feeling of defecating in public. I detest this lack of concern towards someone's need for a little dignity. The shower is connected to the toilet, and it is impossible to keep the toilet area dry during the shower. It is reminiscent of an asian wet-bath.

The rooms are tiny and all the fittings are sharp and angular with zero space for moving around especially in the dark. I have several bruises and a particularly nasty shin injury from smashing into the huge metal bed frame which sat 2 inches proud of the mattress. All the fittings were too big and sharp. All the electronically controlled lights and blinds were slow to respond. It really was not a comfortable relaxing room. The advertised roof-top bar was never open. The aircon barely worked and it was over 30 degrees outside. No fridge, no tea or coffee facilities in the room. The whole gimmicky theme was too much. They should concentrate on being a hotel and not a theme park. Certainly do not choose this hotel if you are over 35
