Cabin was very small but also exactly as described and pictured, failed to realize the room was 'cabin-size". Only a tiny bit larger than a cruise ship cabin. Would have been great for just me but was getting cramped after 2 days with my wife. Lime scooters all around nearby and St. Dominic's cathedral/church is almost directly across the street which we stopped by each morning.

I was looking to change out of a noisy room. I asked the staff two nights about it. Other guests were checking in and checking out. Given the turnover, I would have expected that the staff would be able to move me. I offered to move my things out of the and check out early. The staff did not make an effort to accommodate but simply said I should return in person during the day and keep trying throughout the day.

I stayed here on two separate occasions. Trip #1 was perfect. Trip #2 was otherwise perfect but AC was acting up, hence the lower score here. Overall, though: This is a nice hotel. The rooms are small, but the space is very cleverly used. It's spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and feels higher quality than your average US hotel. I've been to probably 30 hotels around the US over the last couple of years, and I'd put this in the highest 20% despite the lower star rating. You'll for sure get more than your money's worth here.

The hotel is in a great location- near a metro stop and the Smithsonian museums. The room was comfortable, aside from the fact that the air conditioning wasn’t working during a heat wave. Staff were friendly and helpful.
