(ENG) I have stayed here twice passing through the city and both times found it the ideal location. Immediate access to the Landungsbrucken train station and a short walk to many incredible restaurants set the stage for any length of stay in Hamburg.

Great location, near u/s bahn, harbour and Reperbahn. Be prepared for many stairs to get to the hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. No a/c, so the rooms get very hot! A floor-fan helped a little, but not enough.

Hotel Hafen by the port

The position is fantastic and the restaurant is very good. Rooms are comfy and the shower was excellent complete with towel warmer. Small fridge in the room was appreciated but there was nowhere to make a cuppa, either in the room or a communal area. We were there for the Parade of Cruisers. Excellent weekend.

Saknar luftkonditionering

Tyvärr saknades AC på rummen och det blev väldigt kvavt och instängt. Bordsfläkten hjälpte inte så mycket och väsnades på natten. Bra läge och restauranger tyckte vi men inte prisvärt med tanke på avsaknad av luftkonditionering.

Find another hotel for your money

Do not waste your money to stay at this hotel. First of all, they do not have AC which I think for the price is to be expected. If you stay I the room where I stayed you cannot have the window open either because of a really loud train passing very close by. The rooms are really old and outdated, the cleaning lady started cleaning before breakfast ended, the parking garage offers VERY narrow spaces (more French-sized than German-sized) difficult to fit a Passat for instance. The layout of the hotel is super strange, do not expect to stay in the ”nice” building that holds the reception. The sheets and overall bedding were quite nice.

Entäuschend

Leider können wir das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen. Dusche: Der Wasserabfluss war verstopft, sodass nach den Duschen der gesamte Badezimmerboden unter Wasser stand. Nachden wir dies gemeldet haben, wurde der Abfluss gereinigt. WLAN: Im Zimmer funktionierte das WLAN überhaupt nicht, was gerade auf Reisen sehr unpraktisch ist. Verlorene Ohrringe: Besonders enttäuschend war der Umgang mit vergessenen, für uns sehr bedeutungsvollen Ohrringen. Wir haben den genauen Standort angegeben, dennoch wurde nur oberflächlich in der Fundgrube nachgesehen. Weder das Zimmer noch das Reinigungspersonal wurde kontaktiert. Statt uns ernsthaft zu unterstützen, wurde die Verantwortung einfach auf uns abgewälzt. Für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie ist das inakzeptabel und äußerst respektlos. Klimatisierung: Es gibt keine Klimaanlage. Bei Außentemperaturen von 35 °C hatte das Zimmer gefühlt 40 °C. Der kleine Ventilator brachte keinerlei Erleichterung. Ein offenes Fenster in der Nacht war keine Option, da die U-Bahn direkt am Hotel extrem laut zu hören ist. Schlafen war so kaum möglich. Personal: Insgesamt empfanden wir das Personal als eher unfreundlich und wenig hilfsbereit. In der Summe war der Aufenthalt leider nicht zufriedenstellend.

Greit med gateparkering ved hotellet. Trivelig spisesal, og god frokost. Kort vei til sentrum. Reiser gjerne tilbake hit, men håper på et rom som ikke lukter så ille.

Gut und Schlechts

Leider keine Klimaanlage. Es war so heiss im Zimmer und leider konnten wir kein Fenster öffnen da wir die Zimmer im UG hatten. Beim Einchecken unfreundlich und beim Aus Checken ein Zimmer wurden die Zimmerkarten entgegengenommen ohne ein Ton. Beim zweiten Zimmer kam aus dass beim einchecken ein Frühstück nicht bezahlt worden ist. Wir sind total enttäuscht und das von einem 4 Stern Hotel Wir müssen aber sagen Frühstück und das Personal im Restaurant sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit
