The staff were lovely -very helpful. They allowed us to check in early since our room was ready. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a huge variety of offerings. There was a washer and dryer available for use which was greatly appreciated!

An OK hotel. Relatively small rooms, but quiet. Lacks proper AC for hot days and limited to opening windows with bars immediately downstairs that create noise late into the night. You need to request change of towels and refill of toilet paper. Poor draining of sinks and showers from likely clogged pipes.

The room was nice and comfy (Junior Suite) and staff was friendly. Location of the hotel is very convenient. Just be careful on weekends if you are a light sleeper, even in 6th floor floor you could here the music from the night club in the hotel. Not super loud but maybe bothersome for some people.

Great Hotel in Tromso

Got a pretty great room that was bigger (Family room) and all the amenities were nice. We missed a view of the town, mountains and water- we could only see the interior of hotel. Next time I will definitely ask for a sliver of a view and pay for it. We just were not aware of the layout of this hotel. Breakfast was fantastic and the front desk employees very nice and helpful. Thank you!

Relatively expensive hotel with micro rooms- like an interior cabin on a third rate cruise line. Breakfast was chaos. Too many people in too small a space. People spilled out into the lobby looking for seats. No service at all. Picked over buffet

Midnight Daylight Stay

We had the windowed corner all the way at the top during "midnight summer". You can see it in the hotel picture. The view was fantastic! It was sunny 24/7 which was truly amazing. There was no AC and once of the windows was locked so there couldn't be any cross draft. There was a fan, though. It was hot in there even though the outside temp never rose above 65° outside. Hotel breakfast was extensive and delicious but a scrum of people every day. Hotel staff were very nice people but you're kind of on your own, IMO.

I have stayed in many Scandics during the years and was very disappointed of the quality in this one. Room was very hot and humid, minibar was as night stand right by the bed. I booked separate beds but got double bed. Customer service was quite poor when complaining about the hot and humid room, just comment we are aware of that problem - nothing else, not even regretting. Not asking if you have Scandic membership card. Breakfast was excellent.
