We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Conscious Hotel! Amazing vegetarian breakfast spread every morning, gracious and friendly staff, wine and cheese hour every night, eco-friendly products in the rooms, and a stones throw from bus and tram stops, and museums and a wide range of restaurants/cafes were accessible in a few minutes walk. Our room was comfortable and clean, a great place to relax after a busy day of exploring the city. There is a primary school in the courtyard of the block, and we loved seeing this slice of everyday life in the midst of our visit to Amsterdam.

Superb hotel in museum quarter

Awesome "boutique" style and very eco-conscious hotel: very easy to get here from the airport on the express bus (way cheaper than a taxi or Uber) and steps away from the museums. Quiet, clean, friendly staff, great breakfast, complimentary glass of wine in the late afternoon...checks all the boxes and some. Plenty of nice coffee shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Easy to get around the whole city from here. I'd have no qualms about recommending this hotel to anyone.

Conveniently located for museums. Very clean and modern. Exceptional breakfast. Staff very helpful. Quiet. Only issue was lack of air conditioning and the only window was the Juliet balcony door - which we had to keep closed when it was raining which caused the room to be very stuffy.
