Great Location

Great overnight stay. The hotel.is very convenient for the arena and the location on the marina is lovely for walking. Close to nice restaurants too. Prior to arrival we had been unaware that there were renovations taking place so there were workmen on scaffolding outside of our window. This didnt hamper the stay but we should have been made aware.

Building is undergoing roof works so is covered in scaffolding - however no interruptions and inside was an oasis of calm. Staff across all departments were exemplary and the room was comfortable bright and well appointed - food in the restaurant was excellent in the evening and breakfast to excellent with plenty of options

Deta Hotel by Marriot (Swansea)

Lovely view of Mumbles bay but the hotel was covered in scaffolding as the roof was being repaired. No windows could be opened as they were screwed shut, Surely this contravenes health & safey. On the plus side the Cast Iron Bar & Grille is worth a visit ( exceptional burger)
