We had a great day and the stay was good.The resort needs to work on their cleaniness in the rooms and around the pools. I stepped on a piece of glass at the indoor hot tub area .but other than that we had a great stay 😁

Nice hotel for a family stay in Myrtle Beach!

We had a great stay and plan to book again in the future! The onlynissue we had was the room photo shown on the website was different that the room we got which was a little disappointing. But over all the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the view was lovely from our balcony.

Unless this hotel does renovations top to bottom and hire good staff, don't bother staying there. It's a shame because the location and views are amazing.

Would stay again!

Amazing views! Really sweet staff but they were busy and only one person doing check in. Too many people smoking weed on their decks I had to keep my deck door closed … bummer but I guess if you smoke it won’t bug you. I would stay again for the location and price for sure. Place is run down but most places are in Myrtle but it was a cozy bed.

A Solid Stay at the Sandcastle

The room was good for the price and the view of the ocean from the balcony was awesome. No issues with cleanliness and no bugs. Bedroom was separate from sitting area which gave a little privacy and blocked out the sound from the other TV. I even used the gym while I was there. Loved having the parking deck to block the sun from the car. The restaurant in the hotel wasn't open every day but the pools and hot tubs were. Hotel is close to pretty much everything entertainment wise and food.

Was at the lobby at 4:00 pm ready to check in but they claimed the room wasn’t ready / cleaned yet. So after 3 hours they finally called us to let us know our room was ready! At 7:15 pm! That’s ridiculous. I would never stay at this location again. We come to Myrtle Beach every spring and there’s numerous other places to stay in the same price range and I would recommend those over this one because of them not having our room ready for us.

You get what you pay for

This hotel is extremely old and out of date, the location is really its only redeeming qualities, they have pools, hot tubs, a lazy river, and they either did not work, or looked like someone threw up in the water. Inside the rooms are not terrible, it was clean and the bed was comfortable, I did not see any bugs or other questionable critters at this hotel. Over all it was a cheap hotel that is ran down, I guess you get what you pay for.

When we got to the hotel, got checked in, then got room keys, the door wouldn’t work. After standing outside of our room for 30 minutes or more we finally were able to get into our room. The elevators were extremely sketchy. Around 12:30am there were very loud booms coming from somewhere in the hotel. Trash left sitting around trash cans. Pictures were deceiving of the looks of everything.

Not as advertised. Don’t fall for the pictures!!!

Rooms are outdated and not as clean as I thought it would be or based on pictures. Pools were dirty. There were cigarette buds everywhere including the pool. There are just stains everywhere. The carpets were just dirty. The kitchenette light did not work. Ice machine was there but it would’ve been nice if it worked but I probably still wouldn’t use it as dirty as it looked. Balcony had trash. I loved the view of the hotel rooms and the lobby. Loved the picnic area with grills.

The no tell motel

The only thing that garnered them 2 stars was the bed was soft and so was the towels. The hotel property was dirty with cig butts and fake nails in the corridors. The rooms have tile, for flooring that was not clean,( bottom of feet black and never left room) the balcony floor looked like it was painted and was chipping. The ice machine on the 9th floor was out of order. Tried calling the front desk twice, no answer! We had a kitchenette studio room, no plates, forks, pans, nothing. And everytime we walked out the door it reeked of marijuana. And if you’re driving anything but a small car or small suv, good luck driving in the cramp parking level garage that has only 6 levels for a 15 story hotel. We will NOT be staying again.

It was terrible . Room wasn’t that good for the money . Pools was cold when they was supposed to be hot . A worker walked in our room while we was undressed . He said they told him the room was empty & he was putting up a smoke detector . Can’t get our money back .
